Iowa Department of Ag and Iowa Pork Producers Association to Make Announcement on a Water Quality Partnership

Announcement part of watershed event in Albert City on Friday, March 30 at 10 a.m.

DES MOINES – Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig and Iowa Pork Producers Association (IPPA) President Gregg Hora will make an announcement about a partnership between IPPA and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship focused on improving water quality.

The announcement will be made as part of watershed planning meeting focused on expanding the usage of edge-of-field practices such as wetlands, bioreactors and saturated buffers that are focused on improving the water quality.
