Naig to be Sworn in as Iowa Secretary of Agriculture

DES MOINES, Iowa (January 14, 2019) – Mike Naig will be sworn in as Iowa Secretary of Agriculture in a ceremony at the Iowa State Capitol on Friday, Jan. 18 at 2:00 p.m.

Chief Justice Mark Cady will administer the oath of office to Naig, who will be the fifteenth individual to hold the position. The ceremony will be in conjunction with Governor’s inaugural open house of the Iowa State Capitol.

The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship will also share live video of the swearing in on their Facebook page, found here

Naig will be available to the media following the swearing in.
