Naig to recognize calendar contest winners at the Iowa State Fair

12 students to be recognized on Tuesday, Aug. 13

DES MOINES, Iowa (Aug. 6, 2019) – Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig will recognize 12 student artists during a ceremony at the 2019 Iowa State Fair. Students submitted artwork for the 2019-2020 Choose Iowa calendar contest and 12 were selected for this year’s calendar.   

Naig will present the students with a certificate on Tuesday, Aug. 13 during the Iowa State Fair. The calendar will be distributed to fairgoers at the Choose Iowa booth in the Agriculture Building and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship booth in the Varied Industries Building.
