NOTICE OF GRAIN DEALER CANCELLATION
Pursuant to the requirements of Iowa Code Section 203D.6(3) (2017), all interested grain sellers are hereby notified of the cancellation the of grain dealer license held by Poet Grain, LLC, Gowrie, Iowa. Grain dealer license number GD-5240 was canceled on June 19, 2024. This license has been consolidated with another Poet Grain, LLC grain dealer license, GD-5243. All outstanding grain obligations have been assumed by the GD-5243 license effective June 19, 2024.
The cancellation of the above-identified grain dealer license is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by October 17, 2024 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Wallace State Office Building, Des Moines, Iowa 50319, as administrator of the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund. Failure to timely file a claim within the 120-day time period relieves the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund from liability to the claimant.
Failure to make a timely claim against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund does not relieve the grain dealer of its liability to the claimant.

The licensee elected not to renew the warehouse and grain dealer licenses that expired on March 31, 2024.
The cancellation of the above-identified licenses is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). Pursuant to the requirements of Iowa Code Section 203D.6(3) (2017), all interested grain sellers and depositors are hereby notified of the cancellation the of grain dealer and warehouse operator licenses held by Mid-Iowa Milling, LLC, Earlville, Iowa. Grain dealer license GD-5345 and warehouse operator license W-4974 were canceled on July 1, 2024. The licensee was merged into Mid-Iowa Cooperative, an Iowa licensed grain dealer (GD-1131) and a federally licensed warehouse (3-10183). All storage and unpaid obligations were assumed by Mid-Iowa Cooperative.
