NOTICE OF GRAIN DEALER CANCELLATION

Pursuant to the requirements of Iowa Code Section 203D.6(3), all interested grain sellers are hereby notified of the cancellation of grain dealer license held by Great Lakes Grain & Transportation, LLC, Saginaw, MI. Grain dealer license number GD-5296 was canceled on April 1, 2026. The licensee did not renew the grain dealer license.

The cancellation of the above-identified grain dealer license is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by July 30, 2026 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, 1305 E. Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50319, as administrator of the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund. Failure to timely file a claim within the 120-day time period relieves the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund from liability to the claimant. 

Failure to make a timely claim against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund does not relieve the grain dealer of its liability to the claimant.

 

NOTICE OF GRAIN DEALER AND WAREHOUSE CANCELLATION

Pursuant to the requirements of Iowa Code Section 203D.6(3), all interested grain sellers and depositors are hereby notified of the cancellation of grain dealer and warehouse operator licenses held by G & I Feed & Grain, Inc., Mt. Ayr, Iowa. Grain dealer license GD-4554 and warehouse operator license W-4677 were canceled on April 1, 2026. The licensee did not renew the warehouse or grain dealer licenses.

The cancellation of the above-identified licenses is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer and warehouse operator must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by July 30, 2026 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, 1305 E. Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50319, as administrator of the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund. Grain dealer license number GD-4950 was canceled on April 1, 2026. The licensee did not renew the grain dealer license. The company will no longer conduct business as an Iowa grain dealer.

The cancellation of the above-identified grain dealer license is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by July 30, 2026 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, 1305 E. Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50319, as administrator of the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund. Grain dealer license number GD-5359 was canceled on April 1, 2026. The licensee did not renew the grain dealer license.

The cancellation of the above-identified grain dealer license is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by July 30, 2026 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, 1305 E. Grain dealer license number GD-4940 was canceled on April 1, 2026. The licensee will no longer conduct business as licensed grain dealer. 

The cancellation of the above-identified grain dealer license is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by July 30, 2026 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, 1305 E. Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50319, as administrator of the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund. NOTICE OF GRAIN DEALER CANCELLATION

Ries, doing business as, Ries Ag Marketing, Ryan, Iowa. Grain dealer license number GD-4515 was canceled on April 1, 2026. The licensee did not renew the grain dealer license. The outstanding grain obligations were assumed by Ries Ag Marketing, LLC, GD-5365, a newly formed entity.

The cancellation of the above-identified grain dealer license is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by July 30, 2026 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, 1305 E. Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50319, as administrator of the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund.
