NOTICE OF GRAIN DEALER CANCELLATION
Pursuant to the requirements of Iowa Code Section 203D.6(3), all interested grain sellers are hereby notified of the cancellation of grain dealer license held by Carlson & Son, Inc., Blanchard, Iowa. Grain dealer license number GD-4792 was canceled on January 2, 2026. The licensee elected not to renew the grain dealer license.
The cancellation of the above-identified grain dealer license is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by May 2, 2026 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, 1305 E. Walnut Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50319, as administrator of the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund. Failure to timely file a claim within the 120-day time period relieves the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund from liability to the claimant.
Failure to make a timely claim against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund does not relieve the grain dealer of its liability to the claimant.
NOTICE OF GRAIN DEALER AND WAREHOUSE CANCELLATION
Pursuant to the requirements of Iowa Code Section 203D.6(3), all interested grain sellers and depositors are hereby notified of the cancellation of grain dealer and warehouse operator licenses held by Edgewood Feed Mill, Inc., Edgewood, Iowa. Grain dealer license GD-0524 and warehouse operator license W-4756 were canceled on January 5, 2026. The company was acquired by Mid-Iowa Cooperative, a federally licensed warehouse and an Iowa grain dealer.
The cancellation of the above-identified licenses is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer and warehouse operator must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by May 5, 2026 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, 1305 E. Grain dealer license number GD-0573 was canceled on January 9, 2026. The licensee voluntarily requested cancellation of the grain dealer license and will no longer conduct business as a grain dealer.
The cancellation of the above-identified grain dealer license is a “claim incurrence date” in accordance with Iowa Code Section 203D.6(2). All grain claims against the Iowa Grain Depositors and Sellers Indemnity Fund on account of this grain dealer must be in writing and sent by ordinary mail or delivered personally within 120 days after the incurrence date, which would be by May 9, 2026 to the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Grain Warehouse Bureau, Hoover State Office Building, 1305 E.
